The Indianapolis Colts just notched their best win of the year as America was watching on Sunday Night Football. Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos traveled to Indianapolis favored to take care of business, but in the end, the Colts won fairly convincingly, 39-33.

There were lots of big plays and highlight reel moments in this one. However, one play that really stood out came from an unlikely source – Colts’ punter Pat McAfee. The Indy punter got America’s attention with this hit on Trindon Holliday during the first quarter of Sunday night’s game:

NFL officials apparently took notice of the hit as well, because on Monday morning, they forced McAfee to take a drug test. The punter then posted this photo to his Twitter account:

There’s no way a punter can hit that hard… He must be on performance enhancing drugs!

Let’s be honest, the NFL doesn’t have a lot of credibility when it comes to ethical issues. If they want people to truly believe their drug testing is done at random, they might want to refrain from making a punter take a test right after a mega-hit that everyone in America saw. Isn’t it possible that he just lit a dude up? Obviously that’s the case, otherwise you’d think McAfee would have kept the test to himself.
