Northwestern Wildcats to Wear Most Patriotic Uniforms in College Football

The 2013 season has not been the easiest one to get through if you are a Northwestern Wildcats fan. Starting the year 4-0 and then dropping five straight games with a tough schedule remaining, Northwestern is in serious danger of not making a bowl game in 2013. Despite this team’s struggles lately, they are still about to gain a ton of attention in the upcoming weeks. Not for playing the game of football, but for donning the most patriotic jerseys to ever grace to college football gridiron.

Northwestern has been searching for answers this season after seemingly falling off the map after a loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes, but this will help garner some exposure. The Wildcats will wear these jerseys in a Nov. 16 matchup with the also-struggling Michigan Wolverines.

While these jerseys won’t help the Wildcats win any games, it will put them in the spotlight when the play the Wolverines for a possible chance to make a bowl game this season. They have suffered heartbreaking loss after heartbreaking loss, but they might just be due for a nice win.

Let’s see if this patriotic squad led by head coach Pat Fitzgerald can prove doubters wrong.
