Say what you will, but the Cowboys are leading the NFC East and have proven they can hang with the best teams in the NFL. The Texas Rangers have had struggles down the home stretch recently, but have made two World Series appearances in the last four years and have a general manager capable of getting them back to the Series.
The Cardinals have made 23rd World Series appearances, having previously won 12 times. The Blues are will have to get past the Chicago Blackhawks, but could make some noise in the playoffs.
The Indianapolis Pacers took the Miami Heat to a game seven before falling short in the Eastern Conference finals. The Colts are currently leading the AFC South, and with Andrew Luck are dark horse favorites to come out of the AFC.
The San Francisco 49ers are the reigning champions of the NFC and with a stable of young talent to compliment their veterans, could make a push for Super Bowls for the next few seasons. The Golden State Warriors also have a solid young core that advanced to the second round of the NBA playoffs last season.
Now a member of the NHL’s Eastern Conference, the Red Wings should be a team that challenges the Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins for the right to play for the Stanley Cup. The Lions offense is one of the best in the NFL, with the right matchup, the Lions could surprise some in the playoffs, and don't forget the Tigers, who are always in the mix.
The Windy City is very likely city to get at least two titles in the near future. The Bulls are one of a few teams that can challenge for Eastern conference supremacy, the Bears have a legit shot with their new high powered offense, and the Blackhawks have already won two Stanley Cups in the last four years and their core players are all signed for the next few years.
The Bruins are the reigning Eastern Conference champions and almost forced a game seven in last year’s Stanley Cup final. As long as the Patriots have Tom Brady and a healthy Rob Gronkowski, then they have to be in the discussion of teams that could take the Super Bowl. The Red Sox have also been a MLB power, winning their third World Series in the last 10 years.
