Top 20 Images From NFL Week 10 and the Weekend In Sports
Best Pictures From the Weekend That Was In Sports
Another great sports weekend is in the books. The second weekend in November was loaded with lots of great action for fans across the country. Now that we've made it this far into 2013, there's basically something for everyone: pro football, college football, pro basketball, college basketball, hockey, soccer, auto racing. You name it, November has it.
When it comes to the high profile events of November 8th through 10th, there were many to captivate audiences. LSU/Alabama main-evented the weekend for college football, while the NFL had several matchups with major postseason postseason implications. The Lions stood strong over the Bears to gain control of the NFC North, while the Panthers showed they're for real by knocking off the 49ers in Candlestick Park. The Sunday Night Football main event was disappointing, but it featured some awesome offense from the New Orleans Saints.
As of this moment, you'd still have to say that Peyton Manning is the NFL MVP. Just when it looked like Aaron Rodgers was right on his heels, the Packers' QB went down with a fractured collarbone and now his season has been put on hold. It now looks like Drew Brees is going to be the QB to challenge Manning for the annual award.
The college football world was shaken up quite a bit on Thursday night. Stanford came out and rocked Oregon, while Alabama left no doubt why they're the number one team and two-time defending national champions. Currently, it looks like Florida State will challenge Alabama for the national title, but a lot can change in just a few short weeks.
So as with any weekend, there are tons of great photos snapped. In this slideshow we'll take a look at the top 20 from the NFL, NBA, college football and more:
