Houston Texans Cheerleaders Pull Off Best Freestyle Friday Yet With Surprise Marriage Proposal
Throughout the 2013 NFL season, the Houston Texans cheerleaders have done an amazing job when it comes to starting off the weekend on the right note with their catchy Freestyle Friday videos. While the girls have provided us with plenty of awesome videos throughout the season, it’s safe to say their Freestyle Friday for the day after Thanksgiving was one of the best ones yet–mainly because one of their own received a special surprise at the end with a marriage proposal.
This week’s video consisted of the girls showing off their moves to hit the Daft Punk song “Get Lucky” (which is easily one of the catchiest songs of the year), but you knew there was a special surprise for this edition as there was a giant wrapped gift in the background throughout the video with Toro the mascot. At the conclusion of the song, Toro lifted up the gift as a surprise to HTC Rebecca (@HTC_Rebecca) in which her boyfriend (or should we say fiancée now!) Joey was waiting with an engagement ring so he could ask her hand in marriage.
Obviously, Rebecca said yes and the Texans cheerleaders had another reason to celebrate now that one of their own is officially getting married. It’s always fun to see guys come up with creative ways to propose to the woman they love, but it’s safe to say Joey deserves the highest of recognition for coming up with a way to use Freestyle Friday in his proposal plans.
Congrats to Rebecca and Joey once again and be sure to watch the video above as it will certainly bring a smile to your face every time you watch. And as always, don’t forget to check out the rest of the videos from some of the other lovely members of the Texans cheerleaders as HTC Morgan (@HTC_Morgan) and HTC Amelia (@HTC_Amelia) provided fans with the latest recap from the team’s game against the Oakland Raiders. Also, you can check out Amelia along with HTC Shannon (@HTC_Shannon) in the latest edition of HTC Social Club episodes–we promise you won’t be disappointed.
