Best Last-Second Finishes in Sports

Everyone knows what it's like to watch a game that goes into the final minutes and even the final seconds to decide a winner. I mean, isn't that what sports are all about these days? Sports fans watch games to hope for the best possible finish between the two teams playing -- especially if they aren't a fan of either.

There have been countless numbers of last-second finishes in sports history and no one has ever complained about the elevated amount of crazy endings to games. It's great to see players play their hearts out all game long and end the game with a huge reward by putting everything they have out on the line.

Think back to the end of the 2013 college football season when the Auburn Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide faced off in a battle of top-10 teams. Everyone thought that Alabama was the superior squad and, therefore, they would run all over the Tigers on their home field. However, that was not the case as the game was close throughout and it ended with one of the most memorable finishes in history. I can't exactly share what happened, even if you already know, because that is on the list of top 15 last-second finishes.

This list may contain some plays you didn't really know about before. However, they were extremely impressive in their own regard and you might have to watch each video a couple of times to believe your eyes.

Take a look at this list of the top 15 sports finishes in recent memory and let me know what you think. If I have missed any major finishes or anything that should have been included that I somehow missed, comment below with what it was and why it should be on this list. Enjoy.
