Top 20 Craziest Athlete Haircuts in Sports
Top 20 Weirdest Athlete Haircuts
Athletes are a weird species. You never know what you're going to get from an athlete or what they are going to do -- but one thing is for sure: it's always interesting. What do I mean by this? Take Richard Sherman's verbose postgame interview after the whole Michael Crabtree incident for example. No one would have expected that Sherman would have gone crazy over what happened, but he did and that's what makes sports so interesting -- you cannot make this stuff up.
No one is perfect at predicting what is going to happen in sports. If that were the case, someone would have a very successful career of betting on games and being a billionaire. That's what keeps people coming back for more, in fact. No one knows what an outcome of a certain event will be and that's what keeps fans tuning in.
What about athletes' personal lives? It's always surprising and interesting to find out a little more about certain athletes. For example, it's awesome to see how big Derek Jeter's mansion in Florida is and we would never have guessed anyone could live in a house that large.
Another unpredictable thing in sports is hair. You may be wondering what in the name of Tim Tebow I am talking about, but it's true. Athletes are known for being wild and eccentric sometimes and often times their hairstyles reflect that. Have you ever seen Dennis Rodman stick with a hairstyle for more than a couple of weeks?
Let's take a look at some of the craziest and most unpredictable hairstyles in sports. Let me know which crazy hairstyles I have missed in the comment section below.

Honorable Mention: Mark Davis
Okay, not an athlete, but the late Al Davis' son needs a serious wake up call. Mushrooms don't make good hairstyles.
20. Stewart Cink
The hat tan line is more of a style and not a cut, but wow.
19. Coco Crisp
One of the best afros in sports since Ben Wallace.
18. Shaun White
He's not called "The Flying Tomato" for nothing. Check out his sick locks from when he still had long hair.
17. Domata Peko
Domata Peko's hair is something of an art. No one's hair flows out of his helmet better than Peko -- almost lion-like.
16. Patrick Kane
This picture doesn't do it any justice, but Patrick Kane's mullet was pretty legendary.
15. Shayne Skov
This is one of the most bro-ish hairstyles ever. Well done, Skov.
14. Troy Polamalu
Okay, I lied, Domata Peko. Polamalu wins the best hair flowing out of helmet award.
13. Joakim Noah
This sumo wrestler style is an odd look for young Mr. Noah.
12. Tom Brady
Is that you, Justin Bieber? No? I apologize for the embarrassing mix-up, Tom.
11. Chris Kaman
Stringy and wet. Not exactly what your hairstyle is supposed to be described as.
10. Adam Morrison
Adam Morrison, you need to go back to the 1970s -- maybe you'd even be a successful NBA player then, too. Probably not, though.
9. Anderson Varejao
And the Sideshow Bob look-a-like award goes to: Anderson Varejao.
8. Bryce Harper
That's a clown haircut, bro.
7. Andrew Bynum
Andrew, you don't need to wear a helmet, this is basketball. Oh, that's not a helmet? Well, this is embarrassing.
6. Lamarr Houston
Lamarr, why? That's all I have to ask. Just why?
5. Stevan Ridley
I remember when having things shaved into your hair was cool. Wait, never mind.
4. Djibril Cisse
Djibril looks like a really creepy, old catfish. For our sake, he shaved that nasty blonde stuff off his face and head.
3. Chris Andersen
Bidman, I can't even be mad at you. Your hair is weird, but you are the man. That beard adds an extra creepiness factor, but it's cool.
2. Dennis Rodman
Dennis Rodman, are you on drugs? Should I ask later?
1. Tim Tebow
Tim Tebow as a monk? Can it get any better?
