Most of us know how it is to have little sisters or little brothers who want to do stuff completely opposite of you want to do. You may want to go outside well to bad so sad your little sister or little brother wants to stay in the house. You may want to go play basketball well to bad so sad yet again your little brother or sister is going to talk your mom into taking you two somewhere to not play basketball.

Patrick Kane was born on November 19, 1988. He shares the same birthday with such stars as Ryan Howard, Larry King, the "Manimal" Kenneth Faried and even the great Calvin Klein.

Some might find that to be sort of ironic with the jokes on Kane have model looks. Maybe in a past life he was a model. He could have been a mega multi-sport athlete in a past life to with sharing a birthday with some of the best active players in each sport.

Whatever he was in a past life. I'm glad that he is now an amazing hockey player that represents the USA to the upmost gratitude.

3. Has/Had Crush On Taylor Swift

Around the year 2009 in an interview with a Tumblr page manager, Kane mentioned to them that he has a crush on Taylor Swift. What a combination of personalities that would be if it ever happened.

If Kane and Swift were ever to get together, I wonder what the break up song would sound like. I mean I'm sure it would be one of her greatest hits since it is about the man himself, Kane.

Who knows if he still has a crush on Taylor Swift? But I'm not so sure that a crush on her would ever wear off on a man with the right attitude.

4. Named "What's Sexy Now Chicago" in 2009

Awards and recognition are very common with being a professional athlete. It's as common as peanut butter and jelly or white on rice. But sometimes the recognition is a bit silly sounding.

In 2009, Kane, along with Chicago Bulls' superstar Derrick Rose and now retired and former Chicago Bears' linebacker Brian Urlacher, was nominated to "What's Sexy Now Chicago" in the athlete category.

I don't see a listed reaction of Kane's reaction to the announcement of being What's Sexy Now in 2009 but I'm sure it was a good one. Most professional athletes take pride in their looks and then there's the ones like Kane who are just born with it.

5. Has Fear Of Snakes

In the same interview that is posted on Tumblr Patrick Kane said that he has a phobia of snakes. This doesn't surprise me at all. The toughest guy you will ever meet it most likely afraid of snakes and anything to even do with snakes.

In his line of profession, I believe Kane will be perfectly okay when it comes to coming across snakes. But hey if you ever want to stop in when he's going strong go up behind him and do your best snake impersonation, it may or may not work.

There's about a 99.9% chance that it won't work, but anyways just go for it. You know you want to.

6. Wears #88 Because Of Birth Year

Jersey numbers represent a player. A jersey number really becomes the player after so many years of wearing the same number with the same team or even if they switch teams and keep the same number. Whenever you mention any professional athlete that was great at what they did you automatically think about their jersey number.

Patrick Kane wears the number 88 because of the year he was born. Most players have a certain number they've wore since they were little.

Your number is what defines you. 88 is both a not so common number and an easy one to remember and in fifteen years or so it will be hanging high in Chicago.

Accomplishing impressive feats at a young age is a true staple in professional sports. Whether it's on the football field, on the basketball court, or on the hockey rink. It's special for everyone who was involved with it either watching at home or watching it live.

At just 20 years, and 173 days old Patrick Kane became the third youngest player in Stanley Cup history to post a hat trick. A performance like that shows you that Kane is for real when it's crunch time.

With already two championships under his belt we could possibly see hat tricks and the whole kitchen sink in the postseason from Patrick Kane.

8. Has Only Been In One Hockey Fight

A lot of sports fans that look in on hockey think that the fights are just so cool and that they actually happen all the time. Well that isn't so true for Patrick Kane.

Kane has had only one fight during a hockey game. It was in high school against Carter Camper in an U-17 game. No one actually "won" the fight. It was considered a draw.

Fights may be fun to watch. But as you sit back and root your favorite hockey player on in a fight with a rival player just know that those punches hurt and hurt bad like any punches would obviously.

9. Favorite Color Is Black

We all have our favorite things in life. Whether it's your favorite type of food. Your favorite type of car. You always want a lot of what your favorite thing is.

Patrick Kane has a favorite color of black. So when he was young his dad spray-painted all his equipment black. Spray paint might not look nice or last very long on hockey equipment since it goes through such a beating sometimes.

But maybe just maybe the black spray paint played a part in the success of Kane. It very may well be the reason he is so good at what he does.

Let's now call it Kane's Secret Stuff.

10. Lived With Pat Verbeek at Age 14

Patrick Kane left home at the age of 14 to begin his hockey career with the Honeybaked AAA Hockey Club. You never hear about kids leaving home to pursue careers in sports that early.

But when it does happen you know it's a big deal. As he joined the Honeybaked AAA Hockey Club he lived with former NHL player Pat Verbeek. Pet Verbeek took Kane under his wing and I bet Kane thanks Verbeek every day of his adult life for giving him a place to stay while he pursued his career in hockey which has now became a nationally recognized career.

And I'm 100% sure that Patrick Kane brought his secret stuff with him.
