Top 20 Athletes Who Attract the Most Obnoxious Fans
Athletes With the Most Annoying Fans
Everyone knows those athletes who are the best in their respective sport and they have fans jump on the bandwagon from all walks of life. People from all around the country start to take notice of an up-and0coming athlete and jump on the bandwagon even if they don't like the team that he plays for.
We all know what kind of fans I'm talking about. It's usually the bandwagon fans that start to taking notice of these athletes and jump on the train and endlessly support them -- almost to an annoying level.
Every athlete has his own group of obnoxious fans. No athlete is safe from crazy people who follow them, support them and are one level away from stalker status. Top players like LeBron James and Kobe Bryant have pretty annoying fans when it comes to the NBA because people will support them through thick and thin even if they are wrong. If LeBron throws a ball straight out of bounds to lose the game, his fans will say that he didn't mean to do it and that it wasn't his fault that he threw it out of bounds.
Yeah, it's things like that. Oh how about denying that LeBron is a flopper? Or saying Tim Tebow is a good quarterback and deserves another chance in the NFL? Oh, don't even get me started on the Tebow fans -- they are a bit relentless when it comes to backing their hero.
Being an annoying fan doesn't just consist of liking a player because he happens to be good, but it also consists of being in denial of the obvious. For example, LeBron couldn't win a title in Cleveland and many people didn't think he could make a clutch shot. Fans would say that it was never just his fault, which it wasn't, and go on to say that he would win a title every year if he had a good team. Come on man.
Let's take a look at the top 20 athletes who have the most annoying fans. If I missed anyone, let me know.

20. Alshon Jeffery
Nothing is worse than the fans who jump on the bandwagon. His annoying fans aren't even the Bears fans, just everyone around the league who suddenly thought he was the best out there.
19. Yasiel Puig
Sure, Puig was pretty good, but those who made up the "Puig-mania" movement just made me want to wear earmuffs.
18. Bryce Harper
You have to think that fans of Harper are a bunch of college frat bros. That's no fun.
17. Marshall Henderson
If you're a fan of Marshall Henderson, you're most likely just as obnoxious as he is.
16. Michael Vick
Oh, so you're in denial that he ever was responsible for the deaths of innocent animals?
15. Jeremy Lin
Jeremy Lin has a big following. A big, obnoxious, loyal fan base.
14. Peyton Manning
Yeah, he might be one of the best QBs of all time, but your endless support of Manning even when he had a terrible game is annoying. I'm a Manning fan and I can admit that I, myself, am annoying sometimes and deny when he has terrible games.
13. Brett Favre
Brett Favre isn't an athlete anymore, but you know there are those fans who want him to come back to the game -- annoying.
12. Colin Kaepernick
Colin Kaepernick is one of the brightest young stars in the league, but if you talked to his fans, you would think he was the best QB of all time.
11. Cristiano Ronaldo
Oh, you're a fan of the most annoying soccer player in the world? That's cool.
10. Mike Trout
For the fans who argue that Mike Trout is the best player in baseball after two seasons: you're annoying.
9. Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant is the Black Mamba and one of the best NBA players of all time, but he may be a little past his prime -- and by that, I mean a lot past his prime. His loyal fans still think he's the best player in the game today.
8. Derek Jeter
Basically the same type of fans that like Kobe Bryant. According to Jeter fans, he is still the best shortstop in baseball.
7. Sidney Crosby
Crosby fans are usually Pittsburgh Penguins fans -- and they have become unreasonable and annoying in recent years.
6. Floyd Mayweather
Oh, you're picking Floyd Mayweather to win again? That's not predictable at all. His fans probably think his trash talking is calming.
5. Johnny Manziel
Johnny Manziel fans think he is the best quarterback to grace college football. Well, breaking news, he's not.
4. Alex Rodriguez
This one is pretty self explanatory. Anyone who can like and support this guy still is pretty obnoxious.
3. Tom Brady
Tom Brady has a following. A huge following. According to them, he is and will always be the best QB of all time. I like him, but not enough to make that claim.
2. LeBron James
LeBron James isn't cocky and he's not a flopper? Get real, man.
1. Tim Tebow
This really doesn't need an explanation, but the Tebow followers are a bit scary. Say anything bad about him and you will receive their wrath. You can probably assume I'm going to get torn apart by them because I said that.
