20 Hot Female Athletes Who Should Try Their Hands At Acting

I like attractive, athletic women. I also enjoy a wide range of movies and TV shows. My taste in movies includes everything from action movies to romantic comedies to horror films. Some of my favorite shows on TV right now include Person of Interest, the Big Bang Theory, Elementary, Modern Family, Revenge and the Blacklist. I also watch a variety of sports, and I am always paying attention to the sports world.

So which female athletes would I like to see on the big and/or small screen? I have put together a list of 20 female athletes (some of whom no longer play or compete) that I would enjoy seeing as actresses. Some make the list because they are fun to look at while others make the list because they are attractive and they seem to have a personality that would lend itself to acting.

Here’s the breakdown by sport:

Tennis: 8

Golf: 2

MMA: 2

Soccer: 1

Track & Field: 1

Beach Volleyball: 1

Gymnastics: 1

Skiing: 1

Surfing: 1

Softball: 1

Snowboarding: 1

This is only a list of 20 women, so there are definitely some female athletes missing and not every sport is represented. There are a lot of attractive female athletes from various sports and countries, and I couldn't include all of them. Some sports have more than 20 good-looking females competitors themselves. My apologies if your favorite female athlete is not included in my list.

  • Tommy may

Ban them if they WAX THE BIKINI

  • Butch Deadlift

Where’s Sydney Leroux on this list?

  • mackeyall

Who choose the list? Yes some of them should be on dogtv

  • Jon Burrows

Very good list. I have no problem with Gulbis at the top. I think it was because you saw her in person as did I. And I can only say pictures don’t do this beauty justice.

  • Christian Gibbs

I’m definitely opposed to feminaziism, but I have to blow the whistle on this one. This article borders on sexual harassment.

To say that these women should be on TV just because you “like attractive, athletic women” is downright sexist. Being “hot” does not make anyone qualified to be an actress, any more than being tall or fit qualifies anyone to be an athlete. This article completely ignores the athletic accomplishments of these women.

This author has a constitutional right to express his opinion, and I have mine. In my opinion, guys need to stop and think before they publish articles that give the rest of us men a bad name.

  • CelesteStar

I’m no femi-nazi, but did any other woman reading this feel a stab in her heart? This article certainly trivializes female athletes, their accomplishments, and women’s sports in general. I’m very disappointed in this author as well as the source that chose to publish this. Could you imagine a similar list being created where it was said, “Ronaldo should leave soccer for acting,” or a list where the female list-writer cooed, “I’d watch any movie with Tom Brady in it”? OK, so those statements have probably been made, but nowhere do I see a list where the message is, “stop playing those silly sports and get on the silver screen!” I’m disappointed.

  • Love Will Rule

A few women of color would’ve been nice.

  • Sanderson Kramer

Another idiot online article. First of all its super hard to make it as an establish actor or actress. You think these 20 women who are financially successful in their sport are going to give that up for the chance to be an actress? How stupid or how bad a writer are you.

None of these women if they were walking down the street, assuming you didn’t recognize them from their sports, would not cause most heterosexual men to stop in their tracks. Pathetic how these kind of articles get published online.

  • Stop2think

Who took these photos? They did nothing good for the athletes. These are the hottest in sports? Ugh

  • GC Kid

Skylar Diggins is not on this list. Are you on some kind of medication that prevent sanity
