Everyone now has seemingly already heard of U.S. Olympian Gus Kenworthy. The skier has won his first Olympic medal at the Sochi Olympics in 2014 and he’s only 22 years old. However, that’s not the reason everyone knows about him — it’s all about the puppies of Sochi.

Word on the street before the Olympics even started last week was that there were far too many stray dogs in Sochi for anyone’s good and the government was talking about “getting rid” of the strays. Well, Kenworthy seems to be a huge dog lover and he found some stray puppies in his time away from competition and already said he wanted to adopt them so they are in good hands and not in harm’s way.

Well, after posting a bunch of puppy pictures on Twitter the day he found them, he has come out saying that he will find a way to adopt them no matter what and he’s not going to leave Russia without them.

Sure, he’s already won a silver medal in slopestyle skiing in these Olympics, but he’s going to be known for his saving of puppies and the awesome pictures he takes with them.

In fact, just check out the best puppy selfie you will ever see below:

If you love puppies, this might be the best puppy picture you will ever see — period.

The guy is obviously infatuated with puppies and this picture just caps off the successful Olympic run that Kenworthy has put together.
