Over the last few years, NBA wives and girlfriends (NBA WAGs) have become an obsession of not only warm-blooded male fans, but also female fans looking for insight into the lives of women espoused to professional basketball players. Thus, the TV show NBA Wives was created and then location-specific spin-offs of the show came about and now it’s this extremely popular reality TV series that has changed the way we look at the WAGs of the NBA.
The couple became engaged in June of 2008, married on Valentine's Day of 2009 and have two daughters together. Adriana is a model who has appeared in 'Vogue' and 'GQ' and has been a clothing model for Guess and Louis Vuitton. Her marriage to the Serbian star is considered to be one of the most stable of any athlete-celebrity relationship.
In November of 2013, the 28-year-old Young began dating 23-year-old Australian rapper Iggy Azalea. The two were first spotted on a date in Los Angeles and then their relationship went public and was verified by their dual appearance in GQ together in February of 2014. Let's put it this way: They're not afraid to get hot and steamy in front of everyone.
There's definitely no lack of flare in this relationship. After becoming engaged in 2004 and welcoming a son in 2007, they married in July of 2010 with a ceremony fit for royalty. Their 320 guests included LeBron James and Chris Paul, among other big names, and was held at Cipriani's in New York City. Despite Melo's loyalty issues on the court, he seems to be stuck to La La like glue.
After knowing each other for a month, Odom and Kardashian married in September of 2009 and everything was lovely until he was traded from the Lakers to the Mavericks. Put simply, neither of them liked living in the luxury apartments next to the American Airlines Center in Dallas and things have been rocky ever since with Odom battling drug problems and the rumors about them numbering too many to count with all the tabloids.
Shortly after being traded from the Raptors to the Knicks, it was discovered that Bargnani was dating Ayoub, a Lebanese-Colombian model. Since the news broke, Bargnani has been made fun of for being overrated and not nearly as attractive as Ayoub, but the couple is official and there are plenty of pictures to prove it.
After divorcing the mother of his sons, Wade spent a lot of time as a single father before pairing with Union, an actress who has appeared in a variety of movies, including 'Bring it On' and 'Think Like a Man.' Although Wade fathered a child during a temporary separation, the couple is still engaged to be married.
After Shaq's divorce from Shaunie Nelson, he paired with the reality TV star who is also known as "Hoopz." While he may be a former player, his dating history and the attractiveness of his semi-famous gal pal definitely qualifies Nicole to make this list.
An actress, Gadecki met Lee when he was playing for the Knicks. The two stayed together after he signed with the Warriors and then she also relocated to California after landing a major role in the movie 'Freaky Deaky.' Lee even helped her land the role by recording her first test film in their bathroom. Now with a resurgent Golden State team, Lee's future seems to be in the Bay Area, from where Gadecki still commutes to Los Angeles.
The Spurs' legend was married to former wife Amy for a dozen years before they went through a shocking divorce. The usually reserved Duncan wasted no time pairing with Macias a San Antonio sports reporter and former reality TV contestant. This became public in December of 2013, less than a month after the divorce was final.
The NBA player met the Russian pop singer at a youth basketball camp in Moscow. They have two children and Masha (a.k.a. Marina) allows Andrei to have sex with another woman once per year because she says male athletes in America are attractive, get chased by women and that's just the way things are in nature. Go figure.
The couple doesn't get as much attention as some others involving NBA players, but they have one of the longest-tenured relationships of any couple in the league. They began dating in 2002 after they met at a Nelly concert when they were 19, they have four kids together and they married on Dec. 12, 2012 (12/12/12).
When Koufos was traded from the Nuggets to the Grizzlies, his faithful wife Leia came with him and has been mostly positive about living in Memphis since that time. She's a former Miss Utah contestant and is now a personal trainer at Soma Strong.
Kobe met Vanessa when he was 21 and she was 17 while she was working as a background dancer in a music video and he was working on his debut album. Their relationship has been somewhat rocky after marrying in April of 2011 as Kobe was accused of sexual assault in 2003. Vanessa stood by him through all of that, but then filed for divorce in 2011. However, the couple is still married today as they announced the divorce was off in January of 2013.
The recently-traded Hawes went a different route with his love life than most pro athletes; he picked a girl who was attractive AND intelligent. Antoniello is a Marketing Director in Connecticut who also happens to look good in a bikini and poses in one for photo shoots on occasion. The two have been dating for several years and reportedly will marry in the near future.
They got married privately in 2011 and then had the official ceremony in 2013 with celebrity guests, including Blake Griffin. Many celebrity gossip and fashion outlets have called their wedding one of the most lavishing and classy of all time. However, they went the other direction with their latest photo shoot.
After a series of bizarre relationships, the German star quietly married Olsson, a Kenya native and the associate director of the Goss-Michael Foundation art gallery in Dallas. Their wedding came a year after Nowitzki won his first ring with the Mavericks and they welcomed their first child together a year after the ceremony.
The Dominican NBA star met the former Miss Universe in 2007 at the Latin Pride Awards in Boston and they married in 2011. They often travel during the NBA offseason and their wedding ceremony was held at the house of legendary Dominican musician, Juan Luis Guerra, who happens to be Vega's uncle.
LeBron has been a celebrity since high school, which is when he began dating Brinson. They became engaged in December of 2011 and married in September of 2013. They have two sons and have stuck together through thick and thin, despite rumors of James cheating since entering the NBA.
You may not have heard of the NBA player, who has been a member of eight NBA teams and two international teams, but his attractive wife, Malaysia, is worth noting. She's a star of the VH1 reality TV series 'Basketball Wives' and reportedly dumped him on Instagram, although that hasn't been confirmed.
Although their relationship has been kept very secret, the two have reportedly been dating since 2011. She's a model and former Miss Ohio who is almost two feet shorter than Asik. The disgruntled Houston center is looking to play elsewhere since the Rockets brought in Dwight Howard, so the couple may be moving in the summer of 2014.
Although Jason Kidd has been tied to more women than we can count over the years, he has been married to Coleman, a former model, since September of 2010 and they have two children together. Porschla became a model after winning the competition 'Star Search' in 2013 and has been shown off by the likes of Russell Simmons as well as Kidd.
Ok, so he's not a current player, but Fox's girlfriend is worth noting because of her attractiveness. She's an actress and model who began her acting career at age 10. She played in 'The Night' as her first major role and has since appeared in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' 'Bring it On' and even guest-starred in an episode of 'The Big Bang Theory.'
The 30-year-old NBA journeyman hasn't really been as public with his love life as most pro athletes who are dating Playboy models, but he is dating one nonetheless. Allen, a softcore model, revealed they were dating on the 'Howard Stern Show' in 2009 and they married in October of 2013.
How can you not love Steph Curry? He's turning into an NBA supertar after a Cinderella career at Davidson and he's married to his hometown sweetheart. They met as youngsters in the youth group at Central Church of God in Charlotte, where both of their families attended. After both of them moved to California as adults, they reunited, began and the married.
After a short marriage, cheating rumors regarding Gibson have been swirling ever since and the altest reports claim Cole ha filed for divorce after tweeting about her husband sleeping with a Houston stripper. Since nothing is official yet (and she's smoking hot), she still makes the list.
Although she's nine years younger, Castro has been with the Spanish star since 2009. She's a former Dream Cheers dancer who spent time practicing gymnastics as a child and has a P.E. degree. They both denied breakup rumors in 2011 and have been a happy couple ever since.
The daughter of Clippers coach Doc Rivers is reportedly dating Paul George and is rumored to be pregnant with his child. Simultaneously, George reportedly is fathering the child of a stripper, although neither report has been confirmed. Either way, the story is enticing without the pregnancies and strippers because he's an NBA player dating the daughter of a coach for another team. #Crazy
The lady is the baby mama of former USC quarterback Matt Leinart and now is the mother of Griffin's child as well. She's a former USC basketball player and the sister of Browns tight end Jordan Cameron, also a former USC standout. There's apparently more love in SoCoal than there are people to share it.
After a standout career at Duke, Williams' NBA career fizzled quickly and now he plays overseas, although he's still married to Parker a former Tennessee superstar and now arguably the face of the WNBA. The couple has been married since 2008 and they have a daughter who was born in 2009. Imagine the skills that kid will have on the hardwood.
Another former player who is THE former player definitely makes this list as he's a newly-wed with the lovely lady picture here. Jordan divorced his wife, Juanita, in 2006 and was part of a 0,000 settlement with secret lover Karla Knafel the same year. He then began dating Prieto, a Cuban model, in 2008, they married in April of 2013 and have a newborn son together.
After spending time as a dancer for Flo Rida, Logan embarked on her own modeling career following an appearance on the 'Howard Stern Show.' It's unknown exactly when she started dating Blair, but it was around the end of 2010. It was kind of obvious they were an item when pictures surfaced of her in body paint of Blair's Spurs uniform.
The NBA journeyman has been married to the model since 2008 and they have two children together. The Brazilians have separated twice, but are still married and the second child was born less than a year ago. Oh, and she's an actress who has appeared in a lot of movies that we can't pronounce.
The French star's relationship with actress Eva Longoria was well-documented and drawn out, but not much has been made of his new heartthrob. The two are engaged and expecting a child together. She's also from France and her occupation is still "French journalist,' although it's safe to say she's spending a lot of time stateside these days with her soon-to-be-husband.
The wife of the forgotten member of the Heat's Big Three made headlines in April of 2013 when she flaunted a red bikini on the beach. Then rapper Lil Wayne claimed he slept with her before she paired with the NBA player, although no one really knows after all the hearsay. One thing is for sure: The model formerly known as "Short Stack" is the new baby mama of Bosh and looks good these days, regardless of her past.
At the top of our list is the model many consider to be the hottest WAG of any NBA player. Alden and Fields have been engaged for about a year and have a son together. She's very active on Instagram, so photos of the couple and her alone while she was pregnant were plentiful and the wedding is right around the corner.
