Top 20 Athlete-Actor Relationships
Best Athlete-Actor Relationships
It seems like every other day there is a new athlete-actor couple announcing their engagement or letting the world know they are dating. In fact, we may not realize it but there are a lot of actresses and actors who date athletes.
One of the main reasons that seems to be the case is due to the mutual respect the two parties have of one another. Actresses love to attend baseball, football or basketball games and cheer on their significant other. Likewise, actors love to roam the golf course and sit in the stands of tennis matches while they watch their girlfriend or wife compete. The ability to cheer for a significant other in a public setting is something that many do not get to do.
Personally, I was surprised to find out that not more actresses and athletes date. Obviously, there is Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, who seem to have a different actress on their arm every month. However, I thought there would be endless athlete-actor couples that dated each other. The reality is professional athletes have a very strict schedule that require them to be in a different city each week. It can be very straining on a relationship, especially a high-profile one at that. Meanwhile, actors also have crazy schedules, which means synching the two together is nearly impossible.
Regardless, the ensuing slideshow contains 20 couples who managed to find a way to make it work, despite having priorities that take them all over the country.
