It’s Sunday, but the Rant Sports Podcast never takes a day off, so here we are with another helping of top-notch sports news and opinion. March might be a mere two days old, yet it’s clear to see that this month is going to produce some great sports-related memories:

New NBA commissioner Adam Silver wants the age limit of the league raised, and he’s not alone. Houston Rockets head coach Kevin McHale is on Silver’s side, but will anything get done? I doubt it, but it’s worth a shot:

The term “bubble team” is back in the public vocabulary, which means it must be March. Oklahoma State Cowboys are trying their best to sneak into the dance, and let me tell ya, an upset win over the Kansas Jayhawks is exactly what Marcus Smart and company needed this late in the season:

The Virginia Cavaliers are definitely not on the bubble. Heck, they are ACC champs for crying out loud! Tournament time is nearing and the Cavs are a team to consider when filing out your bracket:

Have you guys seen what’s going on in New Orleans? Apparently, the New Orleans Saints aren’t sold on Jimmy Graham because the tight end still doesn’t have a long-term contract! Now that just isn’t right:

Soldier Field played great host to the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night, but where is the NHL off to next in terms of the Winter Classic? How about an ice-covered Fenway Park? I like the sound of that:
