More money doesn’t always necessarily mean more kids, especially when some of the athletes on this list struggle to pay child support. With that being said, athletes seem to father their fair share of children, with several of these professionals becoming a parent with multiple different women. If you think Dwight Howard has too many kids, wait until you see the 15 professional athletes that top him.
Dwight Howard has five children with five baby mamas. To make matters worse, the mothers of his children have been known to cause drama for him on Twitter for the world to see.
Former defensive back Bennie Blades was forced to become a substitute teacher after his playing days to help pay for child support. Unfortunately, teaching doesn’t pay nearly enough to cover six kids with six women. In 2005, Blades was arrested because he owed more than 0,000 in child support payments.
Basketball legend Dominique Wilkins has as many as seven confirmed children with his wife and ex-wife. However, there have been several reports that suggest that number goes much higher with many more women.
Quarterback Philip Rivers may have seven children, but it’s with his high school sweetheart, Tiffany, who he married in 2001. He’s a devout Catholic who is dedicated to the overall well-being of his family.
Kenny Anderson has seven kids with five different women. The good news for him is that he made enough money during his NBA days in which he should be able to cover all the expenses, unlike other athletes mentioned on this list.
Former NBA All-Star Shawn Kemp has at least seven children. However, some have suggested that number could be closer to 11. Kemp hasn’t been the best role model for his numerous children as he was arrested in 2005 with drugs and a semiautomatic pistol on him.
Mike Tyson is the first boxer on the countdown but he certainly won’t be the last. Iron Mike has eight confirmed children with an unconfirmed number of women.
The great Muhammad Ali has been married four times and divorced three times. He has a total of nine children, including two from extramarital relationships. Of his seven daughters and two sons, Laila is the most famous. The now retired boxer went undefeated in her career with 24 wins, 21 of which were by knockout.
Former running back Travis Henry has nine kids with nine different women. There’s no way he made enough money during his short stint in the NFL to support his numerous children, which is probably what led him to a life of dealing drugs. In 2008, he was arrested by the DEA due to his involvement in a cocaine trafficking ring.
Retired basketball player Willie Anderson played on as many professional teams as he has baby mamas. Anderson, who was mostly considered a bust after he was the taken 10th overall in the 1988 NBA Draft, has fathered nine children with seven women.
Many times fans wonder why athletes keep playing the game far past an ideal age. The reason in boxer Evander Holyfield’s case was simply because he had to keep getting a paycheck to pay child support. The former heavyweight has 11 children with six different women.
Retired basketball player Jason Caffey has 12 children with at least eight different women. Despite the fact that he made a decent amount of money playing in the NBA, he had a difficult time with some child support payments.
Former boxer George Foreman has been married four times and has 12 children, including two who were adopted. Five of his sons have the same first name as him while one of his daughters is named Georgetta.
Antonio Cromartie might be the most famous person on this list when it comes to having too many kids. The cornerback has 12 children with eight women in six different states. His shining moment as a father occurred on HBO’s Hard Knocks when he struggled to give the names of his eight kids. Cromartie claims the screwup was staged, but video of the episode tells a different story. Either way, fathering 12 kids with eight women is ridiculous.
Basketball Hall of Famer Calvin Murphy was busy on and off the court throughout his career. The former All-Star has 14 children with nine different women, which means he takes the cake when it comes to most children and most baby mamas.
