15 Athletes Who Have a Horrible Fashion Sense

Professional athletes are paid millions, so why can't they set aside an amount of money for a quality wardrobe and a possible stylist? Here are some athletes who needed a mirror, and someone to tell them "NO" before they left the house.

Compared to the other athletes on this list, Tim Duncan isn't too outrageous. However, Tim is barely following the NBA's rule to be dressed business casual before and after games. Duncan would be the world's tallest hipster if he couldn't fit both of his legs in one side of his overly baggy jeans.

Matching Queen Latifah shouldn't be seen as a positive. To give Wade some credit, he hasn't always dressed terribly. He has been seen sporting some classy looks, but like most of his NBA colleagues, Wade's given in to the awful nerd look sweeping the league. From floral sweaters to big glasses, Wade has fit right in with his fellow NBAers.

13. Paul George

Leather. So much leather. George has been seen sporting multiple outfits with a heavy amount of rawhide lately. If he keeps it up, he could expect a letter from PETA to shut it down. George's sister works in the fashion industry and could be leading him in the wrong direction. Before George became a household name in the NBA, he kept it low key. Now, he's found himself as one of the worst and strangest dressers.

How do you prefer your fish sticks? Carmelo may have toned down his fashion choices since this photo, but how was this ever something he put on his body? The shirt is horrible, and the hat is worse. Throw in the chain and you have a retired Floridian.

11. Kevin Durant

KD is one of the best players in the NBA, but he dresses like a grown-up Steve Urkel. He's shown flashes of dressing with some dignity, but the nerd look has been a constant for Durant. Although his look isn't the best, he isn't the worst-dressed in the NBA.

10. Ryan Lochte

Ryan Lochte came up strong during the 2012 Summer Olympics. However, his fashion sense comes up short. Yes, Lochte has a clothing line in the making, but one can imagine how potentially awful that will be. His attempt at fashion aligns well with the notion that he isn't the brightest, and taking a look at this vest supports that.

Before he sported his Wranglers, Brett Favre was no stranger to denim. Luckily, there weren't any advertisements for Favre's jorts. Yes, this is a photo from his draft day in 1991, but it sets the tone for the rest of Brett's fashion history. One wonders if his practice jersey in training camp was longer than his athletic shorts.

Suit? Check. Cowboy hat? Ch – what? Since when has it been acceptable to wear a cowboy hat with a suit? Then again, has it ever been acceptable to rock a mullet? Jared Allen has done both, and it isn't hard to see that he doesn't put too much thought into his wardrobe. Sporting mostly hunting gear, Allen finds himself on this list. Sign him up to present at the CMAs.

Metta has always been a character, but being outfitted head to toe in a character's shirt before bedtime is a sight.

Some call him the "Guy Fieri" of the PGA Tour. Oh, they don't? As if Tiger Woods needed another reason to hate him, Sabbatini has been sporting the women's spring break cowboy hat on tour for some time now. Pair the hat with white sunglasses, and you have a match made in horrendous fashion heaven.

Brian Wilson is one of the great characters in MLB. His beard is one of a kind, and it even sported its own ponytail. When Wilson showed up to the ESPY awards wearing a tuxedo-themed skin suit, his beard was overshadowed. While his wardrobe doesn't consist of only skin suits, he could've used some advice -- not on his clothing choice, but on the color of his bow tie.

4. John Daly

John Daly is 100 percent All-American. His pants? 100 percent awful. Daly has a number of wild slacks that he wears on the course, from American flag to paisley. Some say his pants are a way to grab attention from a fading career, but how can you be negative against someone who has the gull to sport zubaz during a PGA tour event?

3. Jose Canseco

Umm ... why? How is this something Canseco could wear in public, let alone purchase? It's hard to put into words the kind of fashion statement Canseco's shirt makes. Is he attempting to show everyone he still looks 'roided out? Why not go topless if that's going to be your choice? Hopefully Canseco doesn't have a full closet of shirts like this, because America would be sick of seeing the 49-year-old's nipples.

Dennis has always been in the headlines for his bizarre wardrobe. His signature hair coloring, mixed with his endless array of scarves and piercings, have always gone so well with his shades. Although Rodman looks ridiculous when he steps out, nothing was worse than when he donned a wedding dress to promote his autobiography.

Oh Russell, you just can't stop wearing the things you do. Unlike his Thunder teammate Kevin Durant, Westbrook has not shied away from sporting the no-frame glasses and horribly patterned shirts. You have to admire Westbrook as someone who doesn't care about what others think of him, but you don't envy that wardrobe.
