Some of the most famous athletes in the world enjoy earning millions of dollars from doing what they love. One would think with such fame and fortune, they would at least put on some better looking outfits when in public. Some of these outfits will hurt your eyes, so consider this your warning!
Take a look at 20 athletes who need fashion help.
Ryan Tannehill's shirt is quite distracting to say the least. One would think with a bombshell for a wife in Lauren, he would wear something more appropriate.
If you get to hang out and play golf with Tiger Woods, why would you show up looking like you just got back from saving Luke Skywalker in Hoth?
Is that a pocketbook Chris Bosh is bringing with him to get ready for a basketball game? Maybe it has an extra pair of shoes or something because the ones he has now are more distracting than the pocketbook when you think about it.
Besides Clay Matthew's shirt standing out more than usual, why wear a see through v-neck shirt over it? To show more of an already bad situation? Thank goodness this was a radio interview so listeners didn't have to get all confused from this outfit.
Is it really that cold indoors that Amare Stoudemire needed to bundle up? One wonders how much warmth whatever that is on his head is providing him.
We get it, nothing says success more than a bow-tie. The look of Kevin Love's face shows his determination to bring bow-ties back into the spotlight. Can someone call the fashion police on him please?
Unless you are faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive and plan to leap tall buildings in a single bound, you shouldn't wear these kind of glasses. Perhaps all the water in his ears has confused Michael Phelps?
Perhaps there is a reason why Shaun White's jacket has all those holes on the front of it. It could be a sign it was never meant to be taken out of the closet!
Even though Michael Jordan will go down in history as the greatest basketball player to ever play the game, someone needs to remind him jackets like these need to stay away from public view.
Maybe Cam Newton is best friends with Kevin Love or something. Distracting bow-ties need to stay inside department stores.
Did anyone text Arian Foster that pretend suits don't belong anywhere at fancy events? Maybe he got confused and thought it was Halloween or something.
Maybe Tim Tebow thought the lines on his long-sleeve shirt would be cute to remind everyone of a football field?
Maybe Scottie Pippen saw that episode on Seinfeld that puffy pirate shirts are making a comeback? The hat doesn't help either unless he takes it off and wants to be in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Not really sure what went through the mind of Serena Williams when she got up early one morning to make an appearance on "CBS This Morning." She looks like she made a dress using a New York Jets flag! We all know Mark Sanchez left and all, but still.
Even Matt Barnes can't believe he's wearing a shirt inspired by the blue and red lights of a police squad car.
At least Dennis Rodman gets two points for having his initials on his jacket. Negative two points.
A.J. Hawk is a beast on the Green Bay Packers defense, but did he get hit in the head with a football or something when deciding what to wear? He looks like he just got out of a Metallica concert.
Someone please be sure to remind Tyson Chandler he left his glove in Elm Street...
We all know Dirk Nowitzki won an NBA championship a few years ago, but does he have to even on days off have just a t-shirt and jeans on proclaiming he's an athlete? Someone get this man a fashion guru!
The No. 1 athlete who needs fashion help is none other than Carmelo Anthony. With Phil Jackson in town as president of the New York Knicks, he naturally picked a sweater with triangles on it. Well, the triangle offense is just around the corner, yet this man is really thinking about leaving the Big Apple once and for all. Hopefully he'll return this sweater for one with a red bull on it!
