The Opening Day for Major League Baseball brought plenty of joy to fans around the world. There were some very exciting moments, including two games that went into extra innings and one contest that tallied a combined 24 runs. In other areas of the sports world, buzz surrounding the Final Four is starting to heat up, while the NBA is starting to enter crunch time.

Some people simply can’t sleep the night before Opening Day. In fact, I’m one of them. The anticipation of a clean slate and all of the possibilities of a new season is almost too much to handle. Apparently, reliever Brian Wilson falls into that category as well. You won’t believe Wilson’s wild look on Opening Day:

One area that fans may not want to concern themselves with during the Final Four is which players will get selected in the NBA Draft. However, there’s nothing wrong with taking a look at the prospects who could prove to be a useful addition for your favorite NBA team:

Speaking of the NBA, the chase for certain aspirations is coming down to the wire. Most players are concerned with clinching a playoff berth, while others have their eyes set on personal awards. I’m not saying LeBron James doesn’t have his attention aimed at the postseason, but the fact that he has a shot at NBA MVP certainly has to weigh heavily on his mind:
