The surfing world seems to find hot female superstars, and it appears that the next in line is Malia Manuel. The 20-year-old competes on the ASP World Tour, and has the stunning looks that should make her a modeling superstar regardless of her success in the water. Manuel was born and raised in Kauai, which is the oldest of the main Hawaiian islands.
Manuel began surfing at the age of two with her parents, who both surfed before and after her birth.
Manuel began surfing competitively at the age of eight, and she won the first annual Irons Brothers Classic.
Manuel earned a spot on the Hawaii World Team at the 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2010 ISA World Junior Surfing Championships.
In 2008, Manuel became the youngest-ever winner of the prestigious U.S. Open of Surfing.
Manuel gained her first appearance on the ASP World Tour in 2008, and would appear periodically on the tour for the next two years.
Manuel won her first event on the ASP World Tour in 2011.
Manuel became the second woman ever to appear on the cover of TransWorld Surf Magazine in August 2011.
Manuel was named the ASP World Tour Rookie of the Year in 2012.
Manuel is currently ranked sixth on the ASP World Tour rankings.
