No sport can match the crop of talented and attractive female athletes that surfing boasts right now, and one of the top young stars is Sally Fitzgibbons. The 23-year-old is a member of the world renowned ASP World Tour, and these 15 photos show why many consider her to be one of the most attractive female athletes in the world today.
Fitzgibbons was born and raised in New South Wales, Australia.
Fitzgibbons excelled at many different sports during her youth, as she competed in soccer, track and field, touch football and surfing in high school.
Fitzgibbons began surfing when she was only six years old, and she quickly excelled in the sport.
Fitzgibbons became the youngest participant ever on the ASP Under 21 Tour in 2005 when she was only 14 years old.
Fitzgibbons won the ISA U18 World Title at the age of 16, and she also won the Billabong U21 World Title the same year.
At 17, Fitzgibbons became the youngest person to win the ASP World Surfing Tour qualifier in 2008.
Fitzgibbons finished in fifth place during her first season on the ASP World Tour.
Fitzgibbons won the prestigious Nike US Open of Surfing in 2011.
Fitzgibbons won her first ASP World Tour event in 2011 when she took home the Rip Curl Women's Pro.
Fitzgibbons won the inaugural Australian Open in 2012, in turn becoming the only person to hold both the U.S. and Australian Open titles at the same time.
Fitzgibbons finished runner-up for the ASP World Tour season title in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
A biopic titled Behind the Smile was released in early 2014, and the film takes an inside look at how Fitzgibbons came to be one of the best female surfers in the world.
Fitzgibbons is currently sponsored by Red Bull, Roxy, Garnier and Firewire Surfboards, and she has done numerous photo shoots for each brand.
Fitzgibbons is currently ranked fourth on the ASP World Tour.
Fitzgibbons has more than 165,000 followers on Instagram and 92,000 followers on Twitter, and it is only a matter of time before she becomes a household name for her good looks.
