Time sure does fly. But that's why they invented Throwback Thursday. In this installment we'll go way back to May 1, 1994. The NBA Playoffs were in full swing, and the Rockets and Blazers actually happened to be playing each other.

Cassell would go on to a lengthy NBA career, retiring in 2008 after winning his third title.
Starks was definitely a top sports villain back in the mid 1990s.
Here are three guys you may have forgotten about. But who could really forget Anthony Mason?
This was Horry's second NBA season and the first of seven title runs. What a flat top.
Vaughn ended up with 328 career home runs, but was ultimately linked to steroids.
Some things never change. Spike Lee will always be courtside at Knicks games. Good for him.
Hakeem Olajuwon was in his prime during these years, as evidenced by back-to-back title runs in 94 and 95.
Yes, Adelman used to rock one heck of a stache.
You think baseball players today don't look athletic? You have no idea.
Riles would take the Knicks all the way to championship round in 1994, his eighth Finals appearance as a head coach.
