There are unique jerseys all across sports. It doesn't matter whether it's the NFL or college football. Some teams have custom jerseys that they wear a few times during the season, while others have them for special occasions. All of the jerseys are unique in their own way. Here is a look at some of the best in sports.
The Steelers black and yellow striped jerseys were modeled after the Pittsburgh Pirates' original uniforms. Many people think they are ugly, but you have to respect the organization for dressing their players like bumblebee prisoners. These jerseys were just too unique not to add to the list.
The Atlanta Braves unveiled these new military appreciation jerseys earlier this year. The jerseys include navy and white piping and a navy Braves script with white stars. They decided to leave out the usual tomahawk that is found on their other jerseys. Much respect to the Braves for showing support for the troops.
During the 2011 NHL Winter Classic, the Pittsburgh Penguins wore this custom jersey for the first time. It's hard to recognize the team since the jerseys aren't black and yellow, the teams' normal colors. The old-school Penguin logo is a great addition. I respect the Penguins for going for a completely different look.

Although I'm not a huge fan of the sleeves, these Los Angeles Clippers' powder-blue jerseys are pretty awesome. The jersey is one of the best in the NBA, but too bad the Clippers don't wear it more often.
The Denver Nuggets decided to go a little old school with these yellow jerseys. I really love the Denver skyline displayed on the front. You also can't go wrong with the yellow and powder-blue color combination.
The Fighting Irish wore these all-white jerseys against Arizona State in 2013. I'm sure there were a lot of fans who weren't too happy with really sparkly gold helmets, but who cares. These jerseys show that the Irish are willing to break tradition.
We all know that the Oregon Ducks are all about their jerseys. The team has more jersey combinations than imaginable. Anytime a team shows support for a great cause, you have to show them some love.
The Miami Heat decided to go in a different direction with these all-white jerseys. There is something about an all-white jersey that I love. Maybe the Heat should think about wearing the jersey on a consistent basis.
The Seahawks' wolf grey jerseys are by far the best in the NFL. You don't see the color very often, but the team was willing to do something different. It's only the second time in team history that the Seahawks went with a third jersey.
It's hard to pick which Oregon jersey is the best since they have so many, but for some reason I just love the combination they wore against Oregon State. With the CEO of Nike being an Oregon graduate, it's no wonder the team has so many options. A lot of people don't like the green and yellow color combination of this uniform, but I'm a huge fan. This jersey takes the top spot.
