If you didn’t love Justin Timberlake before Sunday night–you’re certainly going to love him for the shot he took at Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.

Sunday was a big night for Timberlake as he won the award for Top Artist (which shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone) as he’s coming off another amazing year as one of the top musicians in the game, but it was his acceptance speech that has everyone in the sports world talking. Timberlake gave a hilarious speech after winning the award and even took a few seconds to thank everyone on earth–except for Sterling.

Harsh? Of course.

Worth the burn? Absolutely.

Just like the rest of us, Timberlake is feeling the frustration towards Sterling and the racist comments he made that were caught on tape–especially when taking into consideration the musician is one of the minority owners of the Memphis Grizzlies. While he’s mostly been known for his work with music, Timberlake has proven to be quite hilarious as well over the years.

The last thing anybody expected from Timberlake during his acceptance speech was for him to take a shot at Sterling and it’s safe to say this will be one of the hottest topics of discussion in the sports world this week.

Well done Mr. Timberlake, well done. You made an even bigger fool of Sterling on national television and we couldn’t love you more for doing it.
