Lily Aldridge made her debut in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue as one of three cover girls, turning the heads of sporting fans around the world in the process. But make no mistake, Aldridge has been around for some time, and these 20 photos display why men are so enamored with her.
Aldridge was born and raised in Santa Monica, CA.
Aldridge began modeling at a very young age, as she was identified by a model scout in eighth grade.
Aldridge began modeling for Abercrombie & Fitch at the age of 16.
Aldridge appeared on the cover of the Spain edition of Vogue magazine when she was 17.
Aldridge went on to appear in such publications as Teen Vogue and Elle Girl before the age of 20.
Aldridge appeared in a 2006 commercial for Levi's Jeans, sending her career to new heights in the process.
In the past few years, Aldridge has appeared as a model in such publications as Vogue, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Harpar's Bazaar, Elle and Marie Claire.
Aldridge has also appeared in advertisements for such brands as JCrew, Rocawear, Bobbi Grown and Tommy Hilfiger.
Aldridge first appeared in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2009.
Aldridge officially became a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2010.
Aldridge has walked in every Victoria's Secret Fashion Show since her debut appearance in 2009, becoming one of the brand's most respected models in the process.
Aldridge became the head of marketing efforts for the clothing line XOXO and skincare brand Proactiv in 2014.
Aldridge married Kings of Leon lead singer Caleb Followill in 2011.
Aldridge had a daughter with Followill in June of 2012.
Aldridge is currently represented professionally by IMG Models.
Aldridge released a personalized clothing line with the brand Velvet Tees in 2004.
Aldridge joined fellow Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Chanel Iman in becoming the face of the Born Free Africa campaign for retailer Shopbop.
Aldridge is 5-foot-9, 20 pounds, and she wears a size two dress.
After her beautiful debut appearance in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, it appears certain that Aldridge will appear in many more issues of the magazine, and possibly another cover or two.
