World-champion speedskater Apolo Ohno has come out of retirement to take on the biggest athletic challenge of his career: competing in the IRONMAN. Together with Women’s Health magazine’s Jen Ator, he’ll take on the world’s most grueling endurance race.

In Episode 2 of MISSION APOLO, Ohno’s journey towards the 2014 IRONMAN World Championship features a day of training and nutrition followed by 6X Ironman Champion, Luke McKenzie coaching Ohno in open water swimming interval run training.

Apolo also meets with nutritionist Wendy Bazilian to learn how to properly fuel for sport and exercise, and recover with lowfat chocolate milk. Studies have shown drinking 16 oz. of fat-free chocolate milk led to greater replenishment of glycogen, a principal storage carbohydrate, in muscles post-workout.
