While cricket may not be known world-wide for bringing in the big bucks, some of India's top athletes have found a way to make millions with their batting skills. Which athlete tops this list? Here's a hint: It's not Sachin.
Kohli is rumored to have brought in annual earning of about .5 million. He has international endorsements, a prominent role on the Indian cricket team and is one of the most expensive players in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The future is definitely bright for Kohli.
Sachin Tendulkar, potentially India's greatest athlete ever, comes in at No. 2 on this list. Tendulkar has been playing for India since he was just 16 years old. Decades later, Tendulkar still brought in million in his final year as a pro. With many sponsorship deals under his name, Tendulkar will be bringing in million for years to come.
The captain of the Indian national team brings in about million annually, and deservedly so. He knows how to lead a team, and more importantly, makes an impact both as a batsman and a wicket keeper.
