For as long as there have been male athletes, there have been women who get involved with them. They're not always known by name, but these women love the players themselves, their wallets or sometimes both. These women are the wives and girlfriends, known commonly as WAGs, of sports. Let’s take a look now at the 100 hottest WAGs of all time, continuing with Nos. 80-71. All information comes via playerwives.com unless otherwise noted.
Keri Hilson has been a fixture in pop music for over a decade. While she was in college, she was writing songs for the likes of Britney Spears and Mary J. Blige before bursting onto the scene in 2006 when she appeared in Timbaland’s “The Way I Are.” Hilson joined the WAG scene in 2012 when she began dating Oklahoma City Thunder big man Serge Ibaka. The two are still together.
Lizzy McGuire got in on the WAG game in 2007 at age 19 when she began dating former professional hockey player Mike Comrie. While the Canadian-born Comrie never became a star in the NHL, he certainly did well in his personal life, as he and Duff got married in 2010 and had their first child in March of 2012. The pair have since separated as of this past January.
An English actress, television personality and glamour and lingerie model, Gemma Atkinson joined the WAG scene in 2007 when she began dating current soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. After that relationship dissolved, Atkinson moved on to another soccer star in Marcus Bent, but again that relationship was ended. She is now in a relationship with trainer Olly Foster after previously dating musician Liam Richards.
In addition to being a model, Gina Antoniello was the New Jersey Nets’ on-court reporter and a grad student at Columbia. She joined the WAG scene in 2011 when she began dating former Philadelphia 76ers big man Spencer Hawes after a mutual friend introduced them. Hawes just recently signed a free agent contract to play for the Los Angeles Clippers. She was also rumored to be dating former Duke big man Brian Zoubek in 2009.
Another Playboy playmate who made the list, Hope Dworaczyk appeared on the cover of the April 2009 issue of Playboy as the Playmate of the Month, and in 2010 was selected as the magazine's Playmate of the Year. She even won k as a contestant on the Celebrity Apprentice in 2011. She also got involved with NBA star Jason Kidd beginning in 2008, but the relationship ended after barely a year.
Anna Burns had been a fixture in the WAG scene since 2010, when she began dating former New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker. They married in June 2012. Burns' was formerly a model who was the Miss Hooters International 2005 winner. In the football world, she is most known for making scathing remarks about Ray Lewis after the Patriots lost to the Ravens in the 2012 AFC Championship game. Welker is now a star receiver in Denver.
A former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Kelsi Reich has been part of the most famous cheer team from 2008-11. She is also part of the WAG scene as she began dating former Buffalo Bills and current New York Jets WR David Nelson. During a Bills-Cowboys game in 2011, Nelson scored a touchdown, then proceeded to give her the ball after he scored.
Because both Bella twins are on the WAG scene, I have decided to include both Brie & Nikki Bella as a single entry. As current WWE divas, the Bella Twins (Brie & Nikki) are also members of the WWE WAG scene as Brie is engaged to superstar Daniel Bryan while Nikki is currently dating superstar John Cena. Both are the main stars on the hit TV series Total Divas, which chronicles the life of a WWE Diva.
Former Deal or No Deal model Lindsey Clubine became current MLB pitcher Clay Bucholz's WAG after the pitcher had a previous relationship with model Erica Ellyson. Clubine and Bucholz were married in 2009, and had their first child, a daughter named Colbi, in 2010. In 2009, Clubine was featured in People magazine's "100 Most Beautiful People."
As one of the few Playboy Playmates who have been able to have a successful career beyond Playboy, Lisa Dergan has done very well as a broadcaster in addition to her modeling career. After being named Playboy's Miss July 1998, she went into sportscasting, and in 2002, she was a featured reporter for Fox Sports Net. In 2008, Dergan married MLB outfielder Scott Podsednik after previously dating film director Michael Bay.
