After dating for nearly a year, it was recently announced that Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and model Ariel Meredith are now engaged. Upon hearing the news, men around the world were immediately made jealous of Nicks, and these 15 photos will show why Meredith is considered one of the most attractive WAGs in the NFL today.
Meredith was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Meredith began modeling at the age of 14, but she did not pursue the career full time until after high school.
Meredith signed with Ford Models at the age of 18, as a result of winning a 500-person modeling competition in Dallas, Texas.
Prior to turning 20, Meredith had already appeared in such publications as Cosmopolitan, Seventeen and Teen magazines.
Meredith gained her first major television appearance in 2005, when she appeared on the MTV television show Fashionably Loud.
Meredith received her first major runway experience in 2008, when she appeared at Vera Wang's Spring Show.
In recent years, Meredith has walked the runway for Brioni, Diesel and D&G, amongst other brands.
Meredith appeared in her first major advertisement campaign in 2009, working for Dolce & Gabbana.
Since this initial appearance, Meredith has modeled for such brands as Victoria's Secret, J. Crew, Target, and Fossil.
Meredith appeared in the 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2014 editions of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Meredith is represented professionally by Supreme Management.
Meredith has a growing presence on social media, with more than 10,900 followers on Twitter.
Meredith also has more than 12,900 followers on Instagram.
Meredith is 5-foot-9, 120 pounds.
Meredith is absolutely gorgeous, and at 28 years old, she will likely continue to have a very successful career in the modeling industry for years to come.
