It takes a special type of person to make it in the WWE. You have to be strong, have a big personality, and be willing to take a severe beating on a regular basis. Acting and improv skills are also handy tools to have. A few UFC fighters been able to make the transition, and more will certainly follow. Here are five fighters who could make the easiest transition to the WWE right now.
Evans has expressed interest in a move to the WWE, but not until his fighting career is over. His quality trash-talking skills could help the transition.
Liddell could make the move right now due to the fact that he's retired. He could bring as much star power as anyone. Considering he was sort of the UFC's version of Stone Cold Steve Austin, you know his personality would fit in well with wrestling fans.
The UFC's first real bad boy would be perfect for the WWE. Ortiz is an expert at polarizing an audience which is a big asset in pro wrestling. He also has a little wrestling experience with TNA, and a few acting jobs that could help the transition.
Every time Sonnen gets in front of a microphone, it seems like he's auditioning for the WWE. He's great at talking trash and saying outrageous things to get attention. There are few better at creating a buzz for a fight, or match, than Sonnen.
Jackson has already gotten his feet wet in wrestling with TNA, and he probably has the highest ceiling to succeed in the WWE of any MMA fighter. Rampage is the funniest trash talker the UFC has ever seen. Much like The Rock, fans will love it when he's got the microphone.
