Many of our biggest dreams involve meeting our favorite athletes. Whether they are the best in the game, or a bench guy, we always want to know what they are like in real life. Based on what we know, these 25 players would be really fun to meet.

25. Sidney Crosby

Crosby is the best player in the NHL. Despite many hating how he sometimes acts on the ice, he usually seems pretty cool off the ice. Many in Pittsburgh would give up their first born just to spend the day with Crosby. He has some real value when it comes to his company.

24. Tom Brady

Brady is another guy who some people love while other people hate. If anything, if you meet him you might also meet Gisele Bundchen. I would also like to know about some of the insides about the Patriot Way, if he were inclined to tell me.

23. Clint Dempsey

Anyone who breaks their nose, and immediately wants to keep playing is someone I am impressed with. I would love to know how Dempsey feels about the growth of soccer in America. The journey to the World Cup must be crazy fun every year, so I would wonder how it is for the players.

22. Shawn Johnson

Let's take away the fact that she is amazingly beautiful, Johnson has done some really interesting events. She did the Celebrity Softball Game, Dancing with the Stars and the entire talk show circuit. There was also that whole Olympics event that she was a part of. Hanging out with her sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Maybe she would even do backflips randomly in the park.

21. Roger Federer

Federer dominated tennis for part of his career. Until Rafael Nadal came around, it seemed like Federer won every major. He seems like a really cool person outside of the court. He is never a part of controversies and always has nice things to say about everyone. He would probably be a good time, despite his docile demeanor.

20. J.J. Watt

Watt looks like he is having more fun than anyone on the football field. His crazy wing span is great for swatting balls and making you feel less manly during a handshake. He is shown in places where he is having fun, but he can be classy, so he won't embarrass you. He knows how to be a social chameleon.

19. Jaromir Jagr

Jagr may be the funniest guy in the NHL. Every time you see him with someone during a stoppage, the other person is laughing. He makes jokes with the media and even makes fun of his own teammates. It just seems like hanging out with him would be fun.

18. Shawn White

White seems like one of the most fun guys in sports. He is in a band, he is a big part of the extreme sports boom in America and he just seems to have fun with everything he does. A day with Shawn White would be unpredictable and exhilarating.

17. Mike Trout

Trout seems like he is always having a good time. He has a smile during everything he does, no matter what. He has great chemistry with his teammates and is generally easy to get along with. He isn't making the millions that his teammates are making just yet, but he has enough to show us a good time.

16. Larry Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald is another guy who is always smiling. He looks like he has fun even when he is getting blasted going across the middle. He is also fearless, which would work out well if you decided to go to a theme park, or something close to it.

15. Teemu Selanne

Selanne hung up his skates this season. It was national sports news because of how liked he was around the league. He was given respect from every team, because of the good samaritan he was around the league. He would be a man I would love to meet.

14. Trou Polamalu

Polamalu does not take himself too seriously. He has fun with everything he gets involved with. I would love to meet him and see what he is like. He seems like he would be very receptive to anything and would answer any question you had about playing with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

13. Alex Morgan

Morgan is crazy, pretty. That is one reason we would love to meet her. Another would be to hear what it is like to represent the red, white and blue in soccer. Going around the world with "USA" on your chest would be a cool experience to hear about.

12. Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers is arguably the best QB in the world right now. He dealt with some injury issues in 2013, while Peyton threw all over the league, but Rodgers is still the best. He is dating Olivia Munn, which makes all of us jealous. He took over for Brett Favre, and excelled as one of the best in the league. He seems like the kind of guy you get along with immediately.

11. Tim Duncan

It's Tim Duncan. We all know about him. He quietly became one of the best players of all time and now has a fist full of rings. He might go down as the best player of this generation (shhh, don't tell Kobe), and he did it with a certain level of class. He never gets in anyone's face. He is probably the most likeable NBA player.

10. Ronda Rousey

Again, let's ignore the fact that she is beautiful (hard, I know), it must be interesting to hear about a woman making it in the UFC. Rousey isn't even in-your-face about it. She seems down-to-Earth, which is the most desirable trait in a person. Also, nobody would mess with you when you have her around.

9. Calvin Johnson

Megatron is one of the coolest nicknames in sports. It goes to one of the coolest players in the NFL. In a position that is known to have divas, Johnson shows you can be great without having to talk. He just seems like he would be interesting to speak with.

8. Drew Brees

Brees has one of the most interesting careers in recent memories. He was sent away by the Chargers, given the cold shoulder by the Dolphins and had to "settle" for the New Orleans Saints. Hurricane Katrina ran through, and destroyed, the area. He helped rebuild the area, all while bring the team to its first Superbowl (won against Peyton). Then there was Bountygate, and all the drama that came with that. The stories would be great to hear.

7. Usain Bolt

For being such a generational-type athlete, Bolt seems like a really tranquil guy. He is always trying to make people laugh. He seems to have fun with every appearance. He doesn't need the spotlight, but he definitely embraces it. He seems like he would actually enjoy meeting you.

6. Patrick Kane

Kane is the star winger of the Chicago Blackhawks. He is probably the best American hockey player right now. I would love to hear what it is like to deal with the pressure from a country that hasn't won since 1980. He also seems like a guy who is easy to talk to, despite his celebrity status.

5. Peyton Manning

Despite being, at times, the best player in the NFL, Manning seems like his celebrity status doesn't affect him. He is always seen signing autographs and he tries to interact with fans as much as possible. He would be great to meet.

4. LeBron James

It seems that these days, NBA players are easier to interact with than before. James is always attending camps, and having some of his own. He works with kids and is a genuinely nice guy, except that whole decision thing. For being the best player in the world at what he does, he doesn't act like it off the court. Also, he is loaded, so maybe he would buy lunch.

3. Blake Griffin

Griffin is always having fun on the court. He plays with Chris Paul, which shows his patience. He seems like he would be really down-to-Earth as well. Also, he could try that dry humor out that he shows in those KIA commercials.

2. Derek Jeter

Jeter is the most well-liked player in baseball. He doesn't rub anyone the wrong way. He keeps his name out of the media. He never gets bad press, despite playing in New York. He probably has a million stories. Just look at his dating history, you could find out what it is like to date the likes of Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansen.

1. Kevin Durant

Durant would be on most people's list as the one athlete they would love to meet. He is the up-and-coming great. He carries his team deep in the playoffs. He is currently the king of Oklahoma. He has great stories and looks like he would have a great time with fans.
