Most people view professional athletes as gracious, talented, and generally nice people, but there is no doubting that most athletes could provide a beating to nearly anyone in the civilized world in a fight. This doesn't necessarily mean that all athletes are mean-hearted people, but it is clear that nobody in their right mind would want to meet any of these 25 athletes in a dark corner.
Puig grew up in Cuba, then faced a movie-worthy journey of hardship while emigrating to America, and there is no doubting he could hold his own in a dark alley.
Chara is 6-foot-9, 256 pounds, and he has shown an ability to pummel opponents into submission during his lengthy NHL career, leaving no doubt he should be feared in a dark alley.
The man formerly known as Ron Artest is perhaps best known for his role in the Malace In the Palace brawl, and I have yet to meet a person who would challenge him in a dark alley.
Suh is one of the most ruthless and reckless athletes in recent memory, and the Detroit Lions defensive tackle has the mix of quickness, tenacity and pure strength to put fear into anyone.
Wilson may not be a terrifying person in terms of physical imposition, but his eccentric attitude and overall morale leaves one feeling as if he would be ruthless in a dark alley.
Suarez is known by many as the "Human Cannibal" because of his three separate biting incidents during his career, and there is no doubting he would come out biting in a dark alley.
Rousey may be an easy option because she is an MMA fighter, but the 27-year-old's ability in the octagon and reckless demeanor combine to make it painfully obvious that she would strike fear into anyone--man or woman--in a dark alley.
Kronwall is world renowned for his bone crushing hits with the Detroit Red Wings, and his overall physicality on the ice would undoubtedly transfer into a dark alley with ease.
Randolph is physically imposing at 6-foot-9, 260 pounds, and his tendency to show reckless abandon on and off the basketball court leaves it painfully obvious that he could cause serious damage in a dark alley.
Harrison may be approaching the end of his NFL career, but he still maintains a killer's mentality, which would clearly extend into a dark alley.
De Jong is known for his reckless tackles with Netherlands and AC Milan, and his willingness to run through any wall would leave nearly any person in serious danger in a dark alley.
Hansbrough is called "Psycho T" for a reason, and this reason is that he is hard-nosed and has a bulldog mentality, two traits that would translate with perfection into a dark alley.
Many people regard Torres as the dirtiest player in the NHL today, and there is no telling what lengths he would be willing to go to in a dark alley where the only rule is that no rules exist.
Orpik is one of the hardest hitters in the NHL, and the newly-signed Washington Capitals defender would be no slouch in a dark alley.
Balotelli is one of the most oft-carded players in the world of football today, and the Italian striker has a near heartless streak that leaves little doubt in his ability to come out of a dark alley unscathed.
Lucic plays for the Boston Bruins with a vigor and determination that can't be taught, which when mixed with his natural size and strength would mean that he would be a force to be reckoned with in a dark alley.
Edwards has gotten into numerous physical and vocal fights during his lengthy NASCAR career, and he has almost always come out victorious, and this great record wouldn't change in any dark alley.
Zambrano may be looking for work in MLB right now, but you can bet that nobody is antagonizing the 33-year-old about the situation, or else they would likely have part of their face taken off. In other words, don't challenge Zambrano in any dark alley.
Garnett may be nearing retirement, but he still is one of the most determined athletes in the world today, and his internal killer mentality would have most people begging for mercy in a dark alley.
Klitschko is one of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world today, and he would take down a man of any stature in a dark alley.
Dempsey is perhaps the hardest-nosed player on the USMNT, and although he is not a trained fighter, one must assume that he would nevertheless dominate in a dark alley.
The man known as "Birdman" should not be feared because he has many tattoos, but because he is physically imposing, and has shown on the basketball court that he will back down from no man.
Jones is one of the top fighters in MMA today, and his actions in the octagon show that the 27-year-old is not a person to be messed with.
Sherman is not be the maniac that many portray him to be, but that doesn't mean that he isn't highly motivated, very strong, and unwilling to take any bullying tactics from another man, especially in a dark alley.
Hernandez is currently in jail waiting trial on multiple murder charges, and he has gotten in trouble for assaulting another inmate during this wait. Suffice to say, this string of events should leave no one doubting Hernandez's ruthlessness, and his ability to dominate anyone in a dark alley.
