As the world of athletics and pop culture continues to mesh, the number of professional athletes who dress with a great fashion sense continues to grow by the day. Of course, there are some athletes who stand out from the rest with their keen fashion sense, and these 15 men and women are clearly the most stylish athletes of 2014.
Westbrook is known for wearing such stylish outfits as three-quarter pants and leather shirts, which draws criticism from NBA announcers, but praise from those within fashion circles.
Ronaldo plays soccer in one of the world's fashion capitals, and the Real Madrid star has taken advantage by opening a fashion line titled CR7, and generally wearing very trendy outfits.
Williams doesn't wear the flashy outfits that she once did, but she still wears some of the worlds top brands on a consistent basis, in addition to owning a fashion brand that is prominently featured on the Home Shopping Network.
Brady is married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who has clearly helped upgrade the New England Patriots quarterback from a rough dressed young star into a GQ quality dressed veteran.
Cruz attended the 2014 Paris Fashion Week, which is both a tribute to his connections in the fashion world, and his own love of dressing in some of the world's most stylish outfits on a consistent basis.
Sharapova has been featured in Vogue magazine because of her fashion sense, and anyone who watched the 2014 ESPY Awards knows that the tennis star has a fashion sense that sticks out like a sour thumb amongst other athletes.
White dresses with a sort of skaters fashion sense, but he has launched a brand that now sells in Target stores worldwide, and became a fashion icon for skaters, snowboarders and surfers in the process.
People either love or hate the way LeBron dresses, as he wears tight clad outfits, three-quarter pants, outlandish colors and various hats. Even if some people are making snide comments in the background, he wears his clothes with pride.
Sharp has come a long way since his youth in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and the Chicago Blackhawks star now sports a stylish haircut and some of the nicest suits on an everyday basis, gaining the applaud of pundits worldwide.
Federer isn't known for wearing extremely bright or flashy colors, but the tennis star does wear extremely high quality suits off the court, and the best of what Nike has to offer on the court.
In the past Kemp, has mingled with such Los Angeles pop stars as Rihanna, and along the way he has picked up a great fashion style, which has seen him wear designer brand jackets, Armani suits or simply extremely fashionable t-shirt's and pants.
Young is not called "Swaggy P" for nothing, and the Los Angeles Lakers star has combined with girlfriend Iggy Azalea to become one of the most stylish duos in the world today.
Jeter may be reaching his final days with the New York Yankees, but the star shortstop maintains great style, which is to be expected of anyone who spent 20 years living in New York.
Wade may not be playing with LeBron James anymore, but he is still the most fashionable man in the NBA, seemingly setting the tempo for what is and isn't acceptable to wear into post-game press conferences.
Lundqvist has consistently been named one of the world's best dressed people. This is no coincidence, as the New York Rangers goalie mixes a European fashion sense with New York brands, which makes it seem that he is best suited to work on Seventh Avenue instead of at Madison Square Garden.
