Cleveland sports fans stick with their teams through thick and thin. Unfortunately, Cleveland sports teams have been through more thick than thin. This year, however, things seem to be going in a different direction for the Rock and Roll Capital of the World.

Browns fans will be in for a treat when they attend their first game at FirstEnergy Stadium this season. Construction workers recently concluded phase one of the stadium’s makeover, which included the installation of new video boards, escalators and an upgraded audio system. The Cleveland Indians have also announced that they will begin renovations to Progressive Field at the start of the offseason.

The Indians have had an average season. Some series have been better than others, but they could potentially repeat what they did last year and snag another Wild Card spot. The Indians haven’t won a World Series since 1948, so fans would love nothing more than to see their Tribe take home the Commissioner’s Trophy. The Indians might be down, but they are not out.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that LeBron James has left the Miami Heat to rejoin the Cleveland Cavaliers. James returning to Cleveland is a godsend for both the city and fans — or at least the ones who aren't butt-hurt about him leaving still. If there is a team in Cleveland destined to win a championship, it is the Cavaliers.
