It's not an easy thing to be considered one of the best franchises of all time. There's a lot that goes into the conversation such as popularity, history and, of course, championship wins. Take a look at some of the best teams that sports have to offer.

25. Detroit Pistons

The Pistons have three championships, nine division titles and eight retired numbers. Their run of dominance was in the 90s and early 2000s, but even though they not an elite team now, look for them to climb back up the ladder.

They played football with an aggressive, hard-nosed approach and it gave the team a swagger back in the 1980s. Even though the Bears only have one Super Bowl in 1985, they are still a classic and well-known franchise in sports.
