ISL Team Profile: Delhi Dynamos FC

Owned by India's largest cable TV distribution company, the Delhi Dynamos entered the inaugural ISL season with plenty of support and financial backing. The club will play its home matches at the world-famous Jawaharlal Nehru stadium. Working with Holland's Feyenoord, the club hopes to use his skills for player development in the nation many refer to as the sleeping giant of football.

Rather than focus on one or two marquee players, Delhi decided to build a well-balanced roster. The team, unlike many other clubs, is packed with Indian youth ready to prove themselves. Anwar Ali and Steven Dias, aka the Indian Beckham, lead the way followed by Francis Fernandes, Souvik Chakraborthy and striker Manandeep Singh. No fear, the team does have a big international name to fight with also: Alessandro Del Piero.
