Abhinav Bindra. Bindra, an Indian shooter hailing from Punjab, first competed at the Olympics in Sydney in 2000. He was the youngest Indian participant then. He broke a record in Athens 2004, but didn't win a medal. He won a gold medal in the men's 10 meter air rifle category at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
