The collection of athletes in this list proves you don’t have to look like LeBron James to be one of the greatest athletes in the world. Here are the 20 most unathletic looking athletes in sports today.

20. Vince Wilfork

It’s not easy to make NFL linemen look small, but that’s what the New England Patriots defensive tackle is able to do. Wilfork is listed at 6’2 325 lbs. and has the gut to show it. Even at the “old” age of 33, the five-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl XXXIX champion is an important and valuable piece of the Patriots.

19. Prince Fielder

The case of Prince Fielder is how you know baseball is a beautiful sport. The massive first baseman signed a $214 million contract in 2012. With the huge checks guaranteed to come in for the foreseeable future, Fielder can continue to not worry about his physique in the slightest.

Lillibridge is currently a free agent. No, not in little league, but a Major League Baseball free agent.

17. Eli Manning

The younger Manning brother has won two Super Bowls, but his constant relaxed and apathetic look isn’t one you’d expect from an NFL player. The “Eli face” is one of the funniest things to come out of the league in recent years.

16. Andrew Luck

At 6’4” and weighing a lean 240 lbs., Luck’s measurables resemble a prototypical NFL quarterback. Maybe it’s because I know he went to Stanford, but the Indianapolis Colts signal-caller just looks like he should be working at NASA and saving the world instead of playing football. Maybe it’s the neck beard?

15. Pablo Sandoval

One of the reasons many teams feared signing “Kung Fu Panda” to a long-term contract this offseason was because of his ever-fluctuating weight. There were reports every offseason how Sandoval was getting in shape and on occasion, he would show up to spring training noticeably thinner. By season’s end however, the three-time World Series champion would resemble his old self.

14. Matthew Stafford

Like Luck, Stafford is built like an NFL quarterback and has a cannon of an arm to prove it. The Detroit Lions former No. 1 overall pick does however have a “baby face.” Take off his helmet and you would think Stafford belongs on a high school field rather than the NFL gridiron.

13. Tim Lincecum

Shockingly, Tim Lincecum is 30. Seriously…this guy is now 30 years old. He’s grown out his hair and even sported a mustachioed look for awhile, but the three-time World Series champion and two-time National League Cy Young Award winner just can’t escape his youthful look.

12. Glen Davis

“Big Baby” looks big, certainly too big for the NBA and maybe even for the NFL as well. Davis won the NBA Title as a member of the 2006 Boston Celtics and currently plays for the Los Angeles Clippers.

11. Ricky Rubio

It would be great to go back and look at the reactions of people who had never heard of Rubio when he walked on stage after being drafted. The fresh-faced Spaniard is best known for his array of no-look and creative passes to set up his Timberwolves teammates.

10. Chris Kaman

Kaman looks like he’d make a great villain in a horror film, perhaps as a zombie? Okay, maybe that’s going a little far, but besides his height, the Blazers big man doesn’t look like he belongs in the NBA.

9. Terrence Cody

Cody is currently a nose tackle for the Baltimore Ravens, but is best known for being one of the largest men in college football during his playing days at the University of Alabama. During his time with the Crimson Tide football team, he earned the nickname “Mount Cody.” Yeah, I’d say that’s fitting.

If you weren’t told Gray was seven-feet tall, professional athlete would be last on the list of career choices you’d expect for the NBA center.

7. Peter Crouch

The English soccer striker is listed at 6’7” 165 lbs. I know soccer players are in tremendous shape, but you’d think he’d need a little more muscle on his frame to battle with some of the world’s greatest athletes.

6. Tuukka Rask

It’s already frustrating enough for an NHL player to have one of his shots saved by the Bruins goaltender. Then, Rask lifts his mask, revealing a childlike and bratty smirk that must drive them insane.

5. Bartolo Colon

Colon’s one of my personal favorite athletes of all time. To be so overweight and out of shape for so long and still be an above-average player? That’s the dream! He’s listed at 5’11 285 lbs., but we all know he’s probably even heavier. The New York Mets starting pitcher was an All-Star at the age of 40.

Yes, golfers are athletes; I know some of you were thinking it. The 45-year-old Argentinian is a two-time major championship winner, most recently at the Masters in 2009.

3. Sebastian Janikowski

He’s a kicker and barely sees the field, but Janikowski is a member of an NFL team, so absolutely yes, he qualifies as an athlete. “The Polish Cannon” is known for having one of the strongest legs in league history, so strong that Al Davis and the Raiders drafted Janikowski in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft.

2. Byron Mullens

There’s not really anything that stands out about Mullen’s appearance that screams “unathletic,” but at first glance you can’t tell me you’d expect the 25-year-old to already be in the seventh year of an NBA career.

Lorenzen set school records in total offense, passing yards, and passing touchdowns during his four seasons as quarterback at the University of Kentucky. He went undrafted in 2004, but ultimately signed with the New York Giants, where he would win a Super Bowl as Eli Manning’s backup. Most recently, Lorenzen has ballooned up to 320 lbs. and the “Hefty Lefty” is a quarterback in a pro indoor football league.
