West Indies enters the 2015 Cricket World Cup resting largely on the shoulders of Christopher Gayle. His ability to dominate the game with the bat is second to none, and the fact that he has Sunil Narine on the other side of the ball to wreak havoc will instill that much more confidence in the batsman.

Not having Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard should prove to be costly as the tournament continues to progress. Keep an eye on whether or not the lack of all-rounders affects West Indies.

According to BBC Sport, “teams were required to name a 30-man provisional squad before finalising a 15-strong squad for the competition by 7 January. Injured players can only be replaced with special dispensation from the International Cricket Council.”
