Most athletes probably aren’t people you’d want anywhere around your child. However, there are certain athletes trustworthy enough to task them with your kid’s well being. Here are 15 athletes you wouldn’t have a problem with babysitting your child.

Eli Manning — Eli Manning comes off as a pretty goofy guy, but also a pretty caring guy. There's a good chance he would look after your kid well because he'd be making them laugh the entire time.

Aaron Rodgers — Aaron Rodgers is another NFL quarterback that is sort of goofy, but also seems like a good dude. With girlfriend Olivia Munn helping him out, the duo could take good care of even the worst behaved child.

Brian Scalabrine — Scalabrine was such an entertaining character in the NBA, but he was also extremely smart. It doesn't seem like he has a bad bone in his body, and that should make people more comfortable with the idea of him looking after their child.

Derrick Rose — Rose is known as one of the NBA's most humble superstars and that's because he was raised the right way in terms of character. He has great values and he would help instill those in your kid as well.

LeBron James — If for no other reason, why not leave your kid with LeBron James just so they could say they had been looked after by him? He is a pretty good guy as well and he has experience with his own kids.

Tim Tebow — Tebow has good values instilled in him, but he's also a pretty intense guy. If you want your kids to learn a little about sports and a little about life, Tebow may be the nanny for you.

Robert Griffin III — While Robert Griffin III's on-field performance has been pretty bad lately, that doesn't change the kind of person he is. By all accounts, he's a really nice guy and that could go a long way in looking after your children.

Peyton Manning — Peyton Manning is nearing the end of career, so perhaps nannying is his next career choice. He's a really funny guy and he's a good communicator, which are two great skills of any athlete looking to become a babysitter.

Kevin Durant — Kevin Durant is generally known as one of the good guys in all of the NBA. Especially since he's not currently training because he's injured, he could spend a lot of quality time with your kids.

Phil Mickelson — As long as your kids aren't involved in trading stocks, Mickelson would be a good guy to look after them. He's a family man at heart and really cares about his own kids, so he's likely to care about yours if he was watching them as well.

Derek Jeter — As long as Jeter watched your kids during the day, you would be fine. He's a super nice guy by all accounts and would probably entertain them. However, he'd probably be getting to his womanizing ways at night after being finished with supervising your kid.

Larry Fitzgerald — Larry Fitzgerald is one of the nicer and more intelligent athletes of today and he would make a great babysitter. He would definitely make sure your kids did their homework and would have them in bed in plenty of time.

Tim Duncan — Tim Duncan has plenty of rings to impress your kids with and he's also getting to the age where he needs to find something else to do with his life. As such a nice and gracious person, he would make a great babysitter.

J.J. Watt — Despite his size and aggression, J.J. Watt really is just a big teddy bear. Plus, do you think anyone would mess with your kid while Watt was by their side?

Drew Brees — Brees is already a family man and he knows how to handle kids. One of the iconic moments his Super Bowl win several years ago was him holding his son up after the victory. He seems good with kids and he'd probably be good with yours as well.
