There’s a 500-mile difference between talking trash and being a human piece of garbage. According to USA Today, 57-year-old David Lee Wilson was arrested for allegedly choking his fiancee during a dispute.

What started this dispute? According to Wilson’s fiancee and via USA Today, the couple had been drinking all day. Everything boiled over when “[Wilson] started rambling on about NASCAR being better than IndyCar,” and in response, Wilson allegedly choked her. When Wilson’s fiancee tried to call 911, he picked up the phone, told the operator “Everything is fine here” and then hung up. Wilson would later tell police that he overheard his fiancee “talking trash” about NASCAR but stated there was no physical confrontation.

Until the allegations are dismissed or verified, this is currently a case of “he said vs. she said.” But if this terrible report proves true, then it’s time for Wilson’s fiancee to kick this trash to the curb.
