When you’re a good-looking soccer superstar, it’s assumed you can get any girl you want with minimal resistance. Or at least that’s how Cristiano Ronaldo likes to think things work for him. Unfortunately, 22-year-old Brazilian model Aline Lima wasn’t willing to give into his incessant begging.
According to Express, Ronaldo reached out to Lima via WhatsApp, asking for “sexy gym selfies” and a meet up. Lima, however, turned him down for one simple reason:
“I have a boyfriend.”
Ronaldo, however, wasn’t having it. He allegedly responded with, “No one knows, baby. Quiet.” That also wasn’t swaying Lima, who went into further detail regarding the exchange.
“Aline continued to reject the former Manchester United star’s advances, and a stunned Cristiano responded: “Seriously?”
Cristiano offered her tickets to watch him play against Manchester City in the recent International Champions Cup at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, but Aline wondered if her boyfriend could meet him while he was Down Under. The athlete made it clear that he was not interested in meeting his fan, but wanted to see Aline alone.
He wrote: “Yes, beautiful. But it is difficult. I do not want to know man. I want to meet you.”
Seriously, dude; take a hint. Just because you’re Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t mean you can have any girl you want — just like 95% of them.
Either way, it’s great to see the smokin’ hot Lima turning down the prettyboy soccer player. Maybe next time he’ll actually show some class instead of assuming every girl is willing to cheat in order to have a one-night stand with a millionaire.
