October is breast cancer awareness month, and over the last few years, the sports world has done a great job of pushing the importance of the month to the forefront. In the NFL, players wear pink towels, wristbands, cleats and even dreads. If you go to NFL.com right now, you will see a pink ribbon behind the gold shield of the NFL. It’s essential that we continue to stay educated and the research continues to get the financial support that it needs to find a cure.
