Ronda Rousey Honors Her Promise to Attend Marine Corps Ball

Ronda Rousey is having probably the worst month of her professional life as a fighter, but that apparently hasn’t stopped her from honoring her promise to attend the Marine Corps Ball with a marine who asked her out via a viral video post. TMZ caught up with her on her way to the airport.

“I promised I’d go, it’s an honor to be asked. I probably would stay on my couch crying and eating ice cream for another month if he didn’t ask me to get outside the house so it’s probably a good thing.”

Seems like she’s taking the loss to Holly Holm pretty hard, but that’s not news. Here’s to hoping she gets back into the swing of things sooner rather than later and the reported July 9, 2016 rematch is as good as the first fight.
