Stefan Kraft Sets Ski Jump World Record at Incredible 253.5 Meters

By Anthony Blake

The world record for longest ski jump was set at Vikersund 2017 on Saturday – twice!

That’s right, just 12 minutes after Norwegian Robert Johansson broke the 27-year-old record, his mark of 252 meters was beaten by Austrian Stefan Kraft, who flew a staggering 253.5 meters!

Check it out:

Traveling roughly 62 MPH at takeoff, Kraft flew off of that jump like a rocket.

This video is truly terrifying, but for some reason it’s too incredible not to watch.
