Outside of the four major tournaments, tennis doesn’t usually generate much buzz among the sports-crazy crowd.
But a revival for both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal to start 2017 has thrown that idea on its head, as their latest showdown in the final at the Miami Open showed.
For a rivalry that was mostly one-sided in favor of Nadal during their primes, Federer’s win on Sunday marks his fourth straight against the Spaniard.
Perhaps the dominance is shifting in the other direction as these two all-time greats reach heights many thought would never be seen again.
