College Baseball Player Shockingly Breaks Aluminum Bat On Single That Barely Leaves Infield

By Timothy Downs

Florida‘s J.J. Schwartz shockingly broke his aluminum bat and still managed to secure a single during the Gators‘ college baseball showdown with SEC rival Vanderbilt on Saturday.

Metal bats are used in college baseball because they are cheaper and stronger, as universities are unwilling to dish out the dough for good ole’ wooden Louisville Sluggers that break fairly often.

Either this one was a defect, or Schwartz simply has superhuman strength..
