A Nissan sedan somehow managed to get stuck on a truck in California and the driver was clueless for many miles.
This isn’t exactly how a California driver expected to beat traffic.
Cell phone video caught a big rig truck dragging a car down the highway Wednesday after the vehicle became lodged underneath.
Hesperia resident Brian Steimke posted the shocking footage to Facebook writing that the car was pulled at least four miles on Cajon Pass.
“They’re dragging the car,” Steimke is heard saying in the video. “They don’t know what’s going on here. Look at that. Oh my God.”
Steimke pulls alongside the car as the driver waves his hands trying to get the trucker’s attention.
“He won’t stop,” the driver of the damaged car says as smoke billows from the back of the vehicle.
Other drivers are heard honking trying to get the truck driver’s attention.
Eventually, the big rig pulls over to the shoulder of the road. The driver tells Steimke he had no idea the car was wedged underneath.
“What do you mean you didn’t know it,” Steimke says. “Dude, he’s on your truck.”
The driver of the car, who did not want to be identified, told CBS Los Angeles that he was a little sore from the car crash but thankful he’s alive after getting dragged by the truck.
