Pole Sitter Scott Dixon Involved in Wreck With Jay Howard and Ends Up Going Airborne at Indy 500

Australian Scott Dixon has won the IndyCar Series championship four different times and he also won the 2008 Indy 500.

After winning the pole for the 2017 Indy 500, Dixon looked to be one of the favorites to win the race.

Unfortunately, those hoped came to an end when Dixon was involved in a wreck with Jay Howard and went airborne.
