Novak Djokovic seemed destined for at least another semifinals appearance in the French Open, but now a straight-set loss to Dominic Thiem has some believing the No. 2 seed tanked the match.
Judging by this effort – or lack thereof – on match point, it’s hard to blame them for feeling that way.
This loss was in dominant fashion by a score of 7-6 (5), 6-3, 6-0, with the final set bagel being a rare occurrence indeed.
Thiem crushes Djokovic 7-6, 6-3, 6-0.

Perhaps it was just a loss of interest or maybe some type of physical ailment, but one thing’s for sure – this was far from typical Djokovic form.
Folks are going to want answers for what happened in that final set.
