For the third time – including 2008 and 2010 – Rafael Nadal won the French Open title in dominating fashion, not dropping a single set and only conceding 35 games in seven matches.
He put the punctuation on his 10th major on clay with a pummeling of Stan Wawrinka in the final.
Nadal’s 15th Grand Slam title puts him alone in second all-time behind only the legendary Roger Federer.
But it’s the number 10 that stands out most from this victory.

In the open era, only Bjorn Borg‘s dominance of six French Open titles in an eight-year span can compete with Nadal’s 10 in 13 years.
Congrats to Rafa on a truly remarkable achievement!
